Worked EMS for 13 years then an ER nurse now for 6 years. I’ve NEVER seen a ‘homeboy ambulance’ drop off where the family / friends assist in life saving procedures lol… we usually throw them out cuz they get in the way unless we need vital information. Other than that the staff are the only ones who touch the pt.
